It was both ideologically offensive and also just a plain bad movie. Just The Road Warrior filled with more reddit friendly memes with no plot, characters or pacing, not even cinematography. Every meme was like a punch in the face and all of the redditors were jumping out of their seats like pic releated, screaching "upvote reddit style" every time the movie gave them a new dank catchphrase primed for circle jerk upvotes. Agreed. Good action sequences and literally nothing else was remarkable. It was basically just a "vessel" to show some "badass" action sequences. It has a semblance of plot and characters only because you can't technically just string a bunch of stunt sequences together and sell it for $12 a ticket.
