I liked TFA but the music was so fucking terrible I almost raged after the movie. literally no memorable track. when I watched the movie a second time the part that plays when we're introduced to rey was decent, but the rest is just so boring it's ridiculous.
Episode III had the best music hands down, the anakin vs obi wan fight, fate of the twins; to me personally those two scores are the best in the entire star wars saga

I actually think 7 has a few great tracks and was solid overall but compared to the other six (which I honestly think are reasonably interchangeable) it's honestly not even close.

Anakin's Betrayal, Padme's Funeral, Across the Stars, Duel of the Fates, and Battle of the Heroes were all better than Yoda's Theme. The Throne Room is just the Force theme but louder (unless you mean the Emperor's Throne Room?). Rebel Fleet (the one from the end of Episode V, right?) and the Force theme are the best tracks in the whole series though.

The only memorable TFA songs are Reys theme, Resistance theme and the song that plays when Rey finds luke. The last one in particular is great.

Episode III really does have the most dynamic, emotional score, but IV deserves credit for establish so many of the iconic themes, and V for the imperial march.

i enjoyed the prequels more though, i watched them over and over when i was a kid, the originals have a nice story but they just aren't as exciting, star wars 7 however i thought had a bad story but the action scenes were really well done.

Same here, but I think that's why you found the prequels more fun than 7. They weren't better story-wise, you were just a kid so you were more willing to overlook the bad writing. Sheev's deception was only masterful if you know about the EU stuff, though. The revelation isn't a big deal without the buildup about the search for Darth Sidious and the Clone Wars in general. In the movie, it's just "Palpatine is the Sith Lord we've been looking for, he's been controlling the Clone Wars" only they never mentioned that they were looking for a Sith Lord and practically no coverage of the Clone Wars themselves.
