I can agree with this.
>What's your favorite period in movie history?
1928-1945
Basically the period after they added sound to movies, but before the end of WWII after which audiences became overly cynical and interested in realism.
>Which period do you hate?
There is no period I hate, although I do feel that over the last 40 years films have progressively become less substantive. Who needs story when you have special effects, amirite?
>Which period do you want to explore more?
1960's, especially the European films of that period

Great decade for adventure certainly.
Don't understand the obsession with the seventies, hardly as remarkable as the sixties. Also I really don't like the gritty, dirty look of 70's movies, not sure what kind of film was typically used but it looked awful
What is this shameless consumerist regurgitation? Not even a mention of entry level cinema like Caravaggio, Sans Soleil, A City of Sadness, Ran, Nostalghia, Fitzcarraldo, Distant Voices Still Lives, or even Withnail and I?
Your knowledge seems extremely limited. It's almost like you watch movies only when you are switching tv channels while resting in your couch after the dinner.

So,a lot of pleb shit?
>>64163454
with the exception of Blade Runner, yes.
Plebs love the 80's, recent enough to be relevant, old enough for them to be all "look at me I love le classics I am le film bouffe"
