Grandmas will go see Spider-Man with their families because they recognize him, moms will go see Jurassic Reboot because they remember the original. The second one is pretty good because there's plenty of "film" sequences and the overwhelming ammount of filler is pretty cool. If you erase some stuff from Desmond's part you can easily turn it into a film, the only problem is that the game alone will need to be at least 6 hours long.

Paul WS Anderson turned videogame adaptations into post-modern art. There's clearly more passion behind making silly videogame stuff than capeshit. Entertainment that doesn't take itself seriously and isn't restricted to fedora tipping neckbeards, something honest and not blatant soulless cashgrab that certain audiences will eat merely for consumerist habit.
I truly root for it to kill the trend of capeshit, which is by far the most cancerous movement of recent cinema history.
