Besides her not having been created yet? A few months before the movie, there was a bombing at the Jedi Temple, for which she was framed for being the mastermind. Anakin uncovered the true responsible party, so she was absolved of the crime, and the Council was willing to welcome her back, and even to recognize the ordeal as her trial of knighthood (having stripped her of her rank before sending her to trial in the general courts), but she chose to walk away from the Order.
