For a rip off of The Thing(one of the best movies of all time)this flick was terrible
Shame Sally Menke died, she might've been able to save this mess

I wasn't captivated.
>"Who is the bad guy?" premise
It didn't work because there were only 2 guys left
Totino's doesn't understand film

This.
It was so unnecessary.
>But meanwhile, someone poisoned the coffee....
None of that narration needed to happen and the audience could've inferred it on their own not to mention black cuck snakes on a plane spelled it out for everyone moments later.
I can only assume that narration and sequence happens after the 15m intermission (I DVDScr like everyone else) and was there to get you back into the jist of things, yet throws everything off even so.
>make a big deal about it being shot in SUPER WIDE 70MM ULTRA PANAVISION
>shot almost entirely in a stagecoach and a cabin
This actually made me personally question Tarantino as a genius. I'm now starting to think he's a hack who got really, really lucky.

Yes/no: would you have preferred if the flashback in the second half was at the beginning of the film, and the movie was played out as a long version of the intro to inglourious basterds?
i.e., no whodunnit

Don't be fooled, she got that name from a barnyard orgy.

that premise is exchanged for an extended mexican standoff once its revealed that everyone else is a bad guy
when its just two guys, its the climax. or do you not like it when things are revealed in detective fiction?
