I think if he was gay it would be fine. There's things about their interactions that are a little bit queer. When they talk about the jacket and stuff, he's really up close and a little touchy. It's not really a big deal and it could just be a result of them getting along as actors on set showing through into the film even though their characters are supposed to have just met.
