M8 Clones has a 60 something on rotten tomatoes and Sith has a 79. Clearly many people liked them. Something /tv/ should probably learn is that "worse than" doesn't mean absolutely in redeemable. I rewatched 1-6 before seeing TFA.
The OT and video games made me a fan of the Star Wars universe. The prequels, although bad in a movie sense, were enjoyable to me as someone who was interested in the universe Lucas created.
TFA was not enjoyable in any regard. Failed as a movie and in adding anything interesting to the universe, although I did like the jokes.
Not far fetched at all to enjoy the prequels more than Abrams' pile of garbage.
