It wont bomb, but thinking Warcraft is nearly as popular as Star Wars is a bit of a stretch. Even WoW at its peak was only 11 million "fans"
And its dwindled to a lowly 5 million now.
Im not saying the movie will flop, some people will see it just to see it. But its ridiculous to assume its going to have Star Wars levels of success. Something that has had a die hard fanbase for 30 years compared to another crappy vidya movie.
My guess is they will try to release this shitfest during a film drought so more people go see it because they lack other options.

when i went to see star wars at the premiere here, they started with trailers of Batman v Superman, Deadpool and Warcraft.
The crowd in the hall didnt care much about the first too, but everyone got hyped as fuck for Warcraft and people even clapped(the only other time they clapped was during the movie when Leia/Solo/Luke showed up)
Maybe its because comic books were never a huge thing in my country, or its maybe cuz we are slavs and pretty much everyone from my generation was raised with Warcraft 3 :-DDD.
Anyway, my point is, i dont know whats the situation in USA, but pretty much everyone whos in their early to late 20s will see it here for sure just because of nostalgia.Im pretty sure it will do pretty well abroad
