Not happening. Finn is the token black protagonist of the new trilogy, sure they hired a black actress for the next one, but chances are she'll be Finn's love interest or sister. There's also a high chance we'll run into Poe's long-lost family in the sequel either way.
What the new movies need is an asian main character (or two) for that juicy Chinese market; maybe make this character the new trilogy's Lando Calrissian. Maybe a bounty hunter or outlaw of sorts? Could be cool.
Aside from that, we desperately need another alien character as well. Maz is clearly the new yoda so she doesn't exactly count. It's fucking weird enough that there's no new main alien character for a STAR WARS flick, when the franchise is known for its awesome alien worlds and races.
He just needs to focus on Creed 2.
