I swear to god I'll pistol-whip the next guy who says I wasn't a good villain in Star Wars or that I was "too much of a whiny faggot."
>>64040558
probably the ugliest actor after buscemi and the frog guy
>>64040558
John Wick?
>>64040671
Elliot Rodger.
>>64040558
He's great, I loved his performance. Without the mask, he seemed so full of himself and arrogant. Ben is really a greatly written AND performed character.
>>64040558
YOU GAVE THE ONLY GOOD PERFORMANCE IN STAR WARS ADAM
>>64040558
cuck
>>64040558
he wasn't
This is a film series that gave us Vader, probably the most iconic movie villain of all time. Even the prequels had Christopher Lee's count dookie and even Darth Maul was bretty good.
I still can't believe they decided to cast justin long
>>64040731
Christopher Lee was an iconic actor, Count Dooku was a shitty character.
>>64040731
Darth Maul and Count Dooku aren't good villains at all. They both don't do anything that makes us care about their characters. And even Vader was just a henchman in ANH.
Kylo is the most interesting villain so far.

hello reddit
>>64040558
>SAY MY NAME
>perfect delivery of his lines during arguably the most important character driven scene in the movie
>toys with finn in his dual
>fucks finn up despite being injured
>only loses to rey because he was trying to seduce her to the dark side
>he didnt actually die
He's pretty fucking based. I dont know why /tv/ feels so cucked by him they need to project their insecurities.
Your padawan didn't do very well either, Ben.
>>64040810
Kylo is literally just a fucking henchman now, a shit one too
>>64040785
>Christopher Lee was an iconic actor, Count Dooku was a shitty character.
Yeah, and Kylo Ren is a good character but Adam Driver was a horrible casting choice.
They could've casted Channing Tatum and he would've made a more believable and scary villian
>>64040810
Again, I agree that Kylo Ren is a good character on paper but Adam Driver was not a good choice for the role
>>64040558
best performance is all star wars to be honnest
>the only darkside guy that could kill his own father
Gotta give him potential.
Performance was good. Writing was shit.
>>64040938
>Adam Driver was not a good choice
lel sure thing kiddo
Hey Farva, what'd you think of that Kyle Ren guy in the new Star Wars movie?
>>64040996
I mean, I didn't think he was a good choice. I don't think there was anything too horrible about his performance but like >>64040994
said the writing wasn't really that great and there wasn't really much for him to screw up.
He just didn't have any screen presence as a threatening and intimidating villain to me. Not to beat a dead horse but he did come off as a big pushover softie teenager.
>>64040558
He's the embodiment of /r9k/.
He was awhiny faggot and wasn't a good villain.
Hopefully he will be used for comic relief and come up with a better villain in the sequels.
>>64040853
I'm the cuck.
>>64040690
>full of himself
But his entire character arc was about how he was the opposite of full of himself, senpai.
>>64040870
>he didn't actually die
Only because of the ridiculous plot contrivance of having a giant chasm happen to open up within the 6 inch space between the two main characters. Great writing, that.
>>64040558
whats wrong with your faaaace?
>>64041115
That's because he was a big pushover softie teenager senpai, he ain't no Vader and he's obviously not meant to be. His character had a set of goals and accomplished them.
>>64040558
How does his nose fit under the mask
>>64041288
I feel that there would still be a way to balance Kylo Ren's fragility and confusion with being a badass and threatening villain. I mean again, this is a Star Wars film, they've had some pretty cool bad guys over the years, but idk it is the first Disney Star Wars so maybe I should temper my expectations for violent murderous bad guys.
>mfw Rey ends up with Kylo after his redemption
>>64040558
The only part I hated was when he was talking to vader's helmet. He said something about being seduced by the light, but we don't actually get a scene where it happens. Talkiing to Han doesn't count.
Also lost my shit when he said "No" to Han
Just because he is a pussybitch villain in purpose doesnt mean its suddenly interesting and people have to like it
>>64040690
I liked him. He was the only interesting new character.
>>64041710
>yfw Finn blacks Kylo
i liked him.
>>64041929
I ... I'd like to see that
am I gay now?
>>64040558
bad acting without the mask, actor doesn't look like han nor leia son, this >>64040606
the only thing I'd say was good were the bursts of rage, but then that retarded claymore-saber would appear...
>>64040558
The people who say this man is attractive deserve to be brutally murdered for their shit taste.
