Hollywood can't produce "Blockbuster actors" anymore because times have changed. People don't really see a movie just because Tom Cruise is in it. They see a movie because it's a franchise film. So when actors who got really famous in these franchise films go do original or smaller films, no one goes to see them because actor loyalty doesn't exist anymore, only franchise loyalty.
