What did you guys think of The Hateful Eight?
Just finished it right now. My immediate impression: great shit, right under Pulp Fiction but a bit too long.
do you think samuel jackson actually killed the general's son?
Probably

He seemed to know too many details about his son to have not done it. He wasn't in the room when the general was talking about his son's disappearance but still knew he had gone to Wyoming "looking for a fortune" and knew his hair color etc. So yeah he probably killed him, how he killed him though may not have been how he described it, since he really just wanted to make the general angry.

He didnt know his hair color, in fact it's proven he is lying because he says black hair, and then the movie cuts to a shot of brown/greay hair.

It is graying but it is still a dark enough hair color that it isn't "proven wrong" when he refers to it as black. He also knew his mother was from Georgia, and his full name.
Did you like Django OP? I like most of Tarantino's stuff, but I thought Django was misjudged and awfully self-indulgent, and I'm worried that without Sally Menke's guiding hand, this'll be more of the same.
obviously not since he almost shot him in the beginning, after that he was just looking for a reason to shoot him
>>64016691
Of course he could know all of that because the General was well known, especially to warren who shared a battlefield with him.
i don't plan on seeing it, but it's shit

/tv/ all rolled up into 1 post.
I got aroused listening to jackson describing his bbc being pumped full of hot blood
>>64014356
can someone explain to me why the racist "sheriff" character started allying with sam jackson at the end of the film?
>>64018253
He was about to drink the poison coffee. Did you watch the movie?
>>64016761
Not OP but IMO the editing has been a problem on both this and Django
>>64016761
Not OP. I only liked DiCaprio's part in Django, to be more exact the dinner scene in Candyland and Jackson was alright
