Name some things that the fight in Episode 1 does better. Talking specifically choreographic/visual effect wise because as I mentioned before, the fight vs Maul means nothing for the story or the rest of the series.
Just watched the trilogy this weekend before watching TFA.
A new hope is good, Empire is the best by a mile, and Jedi is actually bad. Like very bad:

In Jedi you instantly see Lucas take control and it feels like the prequels. It's also rushed as fuck, you literally go from jabba to an assault on the death star.
A new hope also isn't close to Empire. It's solid but has too much threepio cheese, and hasn't aged close to as well as Empire. The pacing is also slightly off. Still some great moments in it.

the rope thingie was ridiculous, the part where Obi Wan waits for Anakin to jump on the droid, he could've just pushed the droid or push Anakin in the air ending the duel.
