Except /pol/ doesn't have one single belief. If anywhere has a wide variety of opinions, it's /pol/. You see communists arguing with fascists, progressives arguing with racists, liberals arguing with conservatives. Of course some threads quickly become echo chambers but just because there are agreements on a board doesn't mean the whole board is in agreement. Just because racist rhetoric isn't banned there doesn't mean the board itself is racist.
I see a lot of people think they know /pol/ inside out when it's obvious that most of their experience with /pol/ is second hand. It's the polar opposite of a hugbox, /pol/ is one of the most ideologically diverse forums on the internet.
