I loved Battlestar Galactica to death, but shows like Star Trek or Stargate leave me bored. I'm not into this space diversity thing where you are introduced into races that look like shit anyway.

I expected Amos to be physically bigger, but the actor fits the general profile.
I warmed up to Holden. He is younger and different than I imagined him, but it can work out.
Not sure, if the actor can carry it believably as the leader, though, that's my main concern so far. He has been too soft so far.'Holden is waaay more manly and forceful than this, except with Naomi. Actor needs to step up.
Naomi plainly sucks.
Alex I like. Too quirky, but it's Alex, so it fits lol.
I dont care about anyone else really, although Miller is fine and the scene with Avasaral and the ambassador was brilliant and gave me chills.

I kind of disagree. From the books, I pictured Holden to be a kind of amicable idiot--someone everyone likes, is honorable and moral, and his heart is in the right place, but not too sharp.
The actor didn't really deliver the same impression to me. He seems much more mercenary.

Between Expanse, Darkmatter, and Killjoys im throughly enjoying syfy channel more so than I have in a long time.
Shame Defiance was cancelled since the 3rd season was best season.
Helix and Dominion both had decent 1st seasons but the 2nd seasons of both shows went full crazy train.
