A true cínëmátögáf
It reminds me a lot of Spirited Away. Do you remember Spirited Away? When it came out people started creaming itself as if it was the new Lion King or something even though Studio Ghibli had already released many far superior works like Porco Rosso, Nausicaa, and Grave of the Fireflies.
It's the same thing with GP. People inexplicitly sucking Wes's schlong for it even when it doesn't have shit on Life Aquatic or Moonrise Kingdom.

The power of advertising.

Stop motion claymation wildlife will never stop being charming tho.
I bet you think Mad Max is a masterpiece too.

Fictional New England Island complete with Indian trails and scout "Hullabaloos" is a fantastic set. Name 15 other movies that have done it quite so well.

This movie reminds me of Babe. I can't exactly put my finger on why. The cinematography is slightly similar, titlecards and all.
I love it to bits.

>Grave Of The Fireflies
Basically GO FUCK YOURSELF LIFE IS TERRIBLE: The Anime.
Also I don't think that was Ghibli.
I loved Grand Budapest, btw. One of Wes' best.
>>63965398
It's based on what really happened to the guy that wrote the novel during WWII
Royal Tenenbaums is Wes' best. I have already forgotten most of Budapest Hotel by now.
>>63960204
I liked it very much.
Good colours on the set, angles were good and pacing as well.
The environments they used were superb as well and went together smoothly.
8/10
Because it's your standard Wes Anderson fair with action

Damn....he had a hard life.
I loved it so much. Cant be bothered to explain why.
>>63967141
It's the story of someone who died as a child...so no.
