The show wasn't some kind of reinvigoration of animated comedy or anything we haven't seen before but it had enough good jokes sprinkled throughout (I usually enjoyed the white trash kids' antics) that it was worth the 3 hours of viewing time I spent on it. It wasn't great, but it was alright.

I think it went for heartstring-pulling and we didn't really give a shit about any of the characters enough. It's like it didn't invest enough time into any one component and spread itself too thin.
