Now that the dust has settles, can we all agree that TFA is pretty much just a OT "best of".
I mean..
>that masked antagonist
>snoke=the emperor 2.0
>crash landing on desert planet
>a message hidden in a droid
>millennium falcon vs large worm
>stowing away in MF smuggling compartment
>that cantina scene
>world destroying super-weapon

Shit, all we're missing is a trash compacter and some little bears desu

It's true, all of it. Everything OP said. The rehash is real.

AND I DON'T CARE!

Enjoyed the fuck out of my "best of" film.

At least George Lucas introduced interesting concepts like Midicholrians system and what not.

This retarded literally stithed together shit from the established universe and added nothing new of value!

C'mon OP, who doesn't love a "best of"

You'll have to wait for VIII and IX then. TFA was an effort to get people interested in Star Wars again. Now that they've achieved that they'll probably take a more ambitious approach to the next two movies.

>midichlorians
>interesting concept

Interestingly bad perhaps. It's actually quite sad the lengths millenial faggots blinded by nostalgia will go to defend to defend their shitty childhood prequels.
