It was a rejected Showtime pilot that got moved to The CW because their development was utter shit. It was probably rejected because unlike premium cable comedies, it actually has fucking jokes and aren't shitty half-hour dramas. The CW isn't the shitty network it was 5 years ago, senpai, basically all their shows go from watchable to good.
