we used to have a lot of lesbos..
the eternal summer since 2011 may have scared them away
Are those bad examples or good examples of feminist films? You never know with these lot. I mean TBBT is on there, probably the pinnacle of our feminist culture.

Just wanted to ask. Maybe you can give us your top 3 movies and a reason why are you lurking here and on which other boards.
It's rare to find females that are interested in movies and since /tv/ is also shit, it would be even more rare to find a girl here.

what does "proper" even mean? is there even a proper way of representing a female character in television and film?
>>63842046
It means "I like them".
Females and "minorities" are alrady well represented. Some people are just never satisfied.

The best female characters in mainstream movies were from around the 80s and it has been going downhill ever since because people have been pressured to reduce them to simple stereotypes to avoid offending people.

>there will never be a better female character in any action movie, ever
>let alone a female lead

>the Bechtel test.
The bechdel test was introduced in a time when there were very few non romantically driven female main character films, nowadays most independent films pass it because a lot of those films feature several female characters who have significant screen time, also you can have a well written film about a woman who is alone in the woods and it wouldn't pass the test because she wouldn't talk to anyone man or female.
