The only thing I can think is that Luke held onto it. Kylo Angst wasn't even born when they had the funeral pyre. So, he just goes to the Endor moon searching for it one day, or did the Ewoks have one of those Hollywood bus tours or museums with it on display?
Do the Jedi even cremate their dead? It always looks like they just light fire around the corpse as it disappears into the Force.
