Some parts were good but I felt they made the tone of the movie transition between too many things at once. Like when Rey goes back to Leia and they hug, it was supposed to be a comforting moment and then 2 minutes later Leia's just chillin and waiting to say "May the force be with you" to Rey before she takes off.
Fynn has a trooper die in his arms and later says he didn't want to kill but as soon as he got in that TIE fighter he was thrilled to kill a bunch of his own men.
