It seems a great many things in the trailers got edited out. I think Phasma is the worst crime. She undoubtedly had more presence in earlier drafts of this film.
We'll never know, because Disney, but I strongly suspect there was a massive 1th-hour edit of the entire film, which is why this movie is kind of a fucking mess.
