This is something Ive been saying to my friends and senpai i saw the movie with and almost no one agrees with me
But the officers of the Empire seemed older, more mature, ambitious, crafty, etc. Not to mention all male.
Phasma is one thing because of distinguished combat but making every fucking other officer a woman feels out if place and forced, and not to mention all the leadership including hux just didn't have the best acting IMO.
The one thing i can be light about is the organization, since the Empire technically crumbled. But there are many inconsistencies/unanswered questions regarding the Resistance/Republic (heavily implied to be the same thing), First Order and their relationship to their predecessors to begin with
