As of 17 September 2015, Mad Max: Fury Road has grossed $153.6 million in North America and $222.2 million in other territories for a worldwide total of $375.8 million against a budget of $150 million.[5]
it made good money = / = not a flop
>>63783095
That's decent, but to call it good money is a stretch
>>63783095
It didn't make his money back, learn how it works fucking moron.
They don't get 100% of the money from the box office.
Eat a dick.

Good money for a semi Australian film with niche appeal.
>Most hyped blockbuster of all time
>Not even the most critically acclaimed action movie to come out that year
How is that not a failure?
>>63783095
according to /tv/ it has to make 5 billion to break even
>>63783137
>being this triggered
>being this angry and autistic
I can't even tell whether you're butthurt that starwars makes money or that MMFR didnt make money

To be named profitable in this day and age, a movie has to make back three times its budget. Fury Road would have to have made $450 million dollars for it to be called even 'profitable' therefore in this days market, it can be called a 'flop'.
2% of some critics say this is better than that. Wow truly a disappoyntment. If only someone could've seen this horror coming, we could've stopped it, we could've been the one

No.
>>63782951
Both are mediocre.
The only reason RT gave them high scores is because they put a female main character in a franchise for male audience.
The new Ghostbusters will get an even higher score no matter how shit it will be.
