There is obviously more going on with her character, as emphasized by her comment to Han and Finn "you're making a mistake". That seemed more like a subtle warning out of mutual concerns than a "you will die for this you damned enemy rebel scum". If she was completely loyal to the first order or not part of some other plan she would not have hesitated to sacrifice her own life before helping the heroes. The loss of the Starkiller was clearly acceptable to her meaning she had some kind of mutual interest with our heroes whether she is actually with another faction on the side of "good" or it was part of the villain's scheme.
Her character will have a far greater roll in episode 8.
