Utter tripe. South Park could have done something witty and incitful on a trend which is fucking up the West, but instead bailed after 4 episodes to work on some non-offensive "everybody can agree with [us] that adverts are evil!".
This is one of the worst aspects of South Park episode production, they can see the feedback/fallout from each episode and work on it for next week in case it's going against them. I mean, fuck, when Obama was elected, they had an episode about it 24 hours after the event. That's literally how quickly they can have a show written and pumped out if they worked on it. It's usually 2 weeks tops.

Advertisments have evolved into human form. They've now hijacked PC to use it for their own ends. Then stuff about how if everybody had guns, everything would be awesome. PC Principle then punches Lesley through the skull and she dies. The town then goes to the Whole Foods and it leaves as it's an alienship. Essentially, Ads hijacked PC to make everybody be nice, so that expensive houses and shops and shit would be able to thrive. With end goal of everybody being unable to afford anything. Priced into extinction. It's implied the ads are aliens.
Funnily thing is, I can't tell if they're being clever or not with that. I mean, aliens, in USA, are used for non-citizens, right? So, they're unlikely to be white, at least in the eyes of Americans. So aliens "using PC to their advantage", I saw as a nod towards how minorities (which is hilarious, as white people are minorities too, literally) use PC culture in order to get better shit. Which links into the gentrifying and shit.
I mean, I hope it was, cause that is kinda clever. As for "everybody has guns, nobody will get shot" I assume is the idea that "if everybody has nukes, then they become worthless".

It's not a troll thread, I honestly was confused as to why they dropped the SJW/PC is bad angle and replaced it with "Ads are bad" angle. Why? What was the point? Was the feedback/backlash too strong? Was it just not 'funny'? Was it not testing well in their focus groups?
Why? Why did they stop showing the bad side of a following which is actively reducing discussion, diversity and subjectiveness and instead going "lol aren't ads bad? look at all these ads in this very fucking show we're broadcasting and all the very ads our network relies on to exist!".
