I actually think the fanservice for this one was justified. I feel like they can do a shit ton of fanservice on this once, introducing all the old characters and whatnot, reviving the old plot. Then, they can develop the story more boldly, showing Rey and Kylo's training with the force and all the dank shit that will happen in-between.

It wasn't very good. By no means awful, but it was cluttered with too many characters and no one really developed. Some characters make no sense in how they act based on where they came from. Some of the most important new characters. It just wasn't that good. It's very ok. It never tries to be great and I find that disappointing.
