What's your opinion of Zack Snyder? He's a great director, but he needs someone to reign him in. Someone who isn't Nolan.

He's good. Seems like a cool guy too. He just needs a good writer
He likes Birdy the Mighty, so he's cool in my book.
One of the few action movie auteurs. Needs to get some good writers on his team.

One of the few aesthetes of the 21st century
>Nolan Opposed Man of Steel's Controversial Ending
>Zack Snyder had a brainwave about how to reintroduce Batman, and set up the battle between the two comic book titans, and he pitched it to both Nolan and Goyer.
>“I said, ‘What about at the end of the movie we do a scene where there’s a crate full of kryptonite delivered to Wayne Manor,’” Snyder told EW. “Everyone was like…‘Okaay.’ Once you say it out loud it’s a problem because you can’t unsay it.”
>It's not exactly the most subtle scene to introduce and thankfully, that idea got nixed

>Christopher Nolan looks to have been dropped as executive producer, and that DC Comics Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns is brought on as executive producer on Batman Vs. Superman

From the latest press release announcing Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred:
>Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.

After seeing legend of the Guardians, I actually want him to direct an animated Birdy the Mighty film.

He said in an interview that he agreed to do Watchmen because otherwise Michael Bay was going to do it.
