Is Fargo S2 the only show in the history of television which requires you to read the fan wiki in order to understand the ending, given that it hinges on the name of a character that was never spoken once in the actual show?
>>
Link at such fan wiki?
>>
Hanzee's ending was outright crap. It's like a terrible fanfiction that came to life.

Mike's ending was unsatisfying. Part of me wants to see him redeemed next season, but a bigger part of me wants this story arc to just be left where it is and start fresh with new characters that have absolutely no attachment to the previous seasons.
>>
>>63710681
so did the kids kill hanzee and that guy took over his new identity and used his phrase?
>>
Holy shit, you people are really stupid.

It was just a fake name, doesn't mean he kept it.
The deaf kids are the hitman from season 1.
And the ending was just setting up season 3.
>>
>>63711016
>this nigga didn't read the interview

Too lazy to post is because I'm on my phone but hanzee did get the face surgery to become fat jew, and season 3 hasn't been set up.

You're right about wrench and numbers though

Hanzee's actor literally confirmed it
>>
>>63710846
I think that was the point for Mike's character but god damn the show had really good writing before then this shit happened.
one of the reasons why I liked this season was because it wasn't attached to season 1

Is Fargo the most unnecessary meme show ever?

Seriously the movie is great, Buscemi, woodchipper, etc. But the show is so meh. So very, very meh. I've tried twice to get into this and failed, twice.

Cool, I never take part in the live threads, I always waited for a hd no advert torrent, so I've missed out on the fun.
I think it ended quite right, or they tied things up as best as they could, Danson studying a new language was just funny how much they used that (weird alien room) to keep people wondering.
I prefer the first season but this season had some great moments and characters, no doubt about that.
>>
>>63710846
Mike's ending was perfect. Since the very beginning Kansas City has been more of a company than a mob. And what does a higher up at a company do? Work 9-5 and come in on evenings and weekends if he needs to get work done. The lead up to it with Mike talking about parades and even telling the cook to stop making German food was a flawless setup for his disappointment.
>>

True in a way, but it's kind of true on every place ever, youtube, Imdb... I like the comments as partially as the film or tv programme (show), no big probem here, it's a thing and I won't be abe to change it, so I just like hearing uncensored opinions.
I actually like happy endings but sometimes it doesn't fit the story, that's rare when I feel that.
This wasn't quite a happy ending, it was neutral- cancerfu surviving the blackout was a semi happy ending.

Is this a dig at shekel shuffling HBO executives, who I suspect pressured Pizzalatte into hurrying up and getting “True Detective” S02 on-screen and because so, it sucked?

Yes, it's called the /tv/ board
>>
>>63722977
At first glance a gimmicky show with the most average plot ever - married man and woman start an affair and it fucks up everybody.

But if you watch it, it's just perfect. The most extensive and detailed portrait of emotional relations.

First half of each episode is told from the man's perspective, second from the woman's. Gimmicky, but works really well, as they often contradict each other, and you have to figure out what actually probably happens.

Not for everybody, but having a great cast, great production value, a great story and amazing storytelling quality, I wonder why there is so little talk about it.
>>
>>63723455

If Mike Milligan was still working for Kansas City when Malvo showed up in S01, then he would have been killed along with the rest of them but if Hanzee took over the Kansas City mob before that, then presumably he killed Mike?

You just don't get it.
It was about conformity, one of the themes of season was that the '70s were ending and with it the culture and society, just like Mike's ending, the badass indian turning into the lazy mob boss was a good way of representing this.

- Metaphor for a traumatizing experience or knowledge you cannot talk about, but cannot forget or ignore either
- Manifestation of an invading outside force whose presence destroys the fabric of community (the Gerhards, Fargo and Peggy are similar in that sense, so the alien appearance is also a moment of culmination and clarity)
- Storytelling device to make sure that Fargo is not mistaken for a gangster tale
