what makes this show so funny is the muddled nature of jack
he's a real life liberal, intentionally playing an absurd version of a conservative, which liberals think is an exaggeration, but conservatives think is humorous
he's just perfect, and I don't think he was intended to be perfect
as he softened up to Fey he became less appealing
I dropped it a few seasons before it ended like I usually do with sitcoms but aside from Seinfeld and Curb it's GOAT for American TV.
