Nah dude, Mexican soaps only go on for a few months. So they are loaded with drama and scores of hot chicks in every episode. It's the American soaps that drag on and suck.
The comic is actually shit as well with awful, shallow characters and nonsensical idiotic plot. But the show is even more shit because they have to focus on relationship drama to appeal to a wider audience.
