last week someone posted some britfag doing a sketch/pseudocumentary that did a send up of the idea of bottled water as some sort of top notch modern comedy. at the end they had a false 4th wall break where the staff was amazed at water coming out of a faucet.

The problem is that the modern left isn't funny any more. It takes itself far too seriously, and instead of lampooning people and things it just whines and complains.
I'm on the right but I find Spitting Image hilarious, it's reasonably balanced and all of the caricatures it has are recognisable and funny. I wouldn't call it subtle, but it's at least clever.
Nowadays political satire is saying "Tories are cunts aren't they?", cue laughter.
