The idea is two fold:
>Plagueis can use the Force to bring people back to life.
>People don't disappear when they die, they become one with the Force
>Some even manage to retain conciousness within the Force, especially those well trained in the ways of the Force, like the Jedi
>So, it might be possible that even though he was killed, he came back as a dark Force Ghost, and then used the Force as a Force Ghost, to make himself come back to life
At least this is one theory people have been circling around.

Well yeah, in the movies only Jedi got the Force Ghost thing, but since it's estabished by Yoda that "Luminous beings are we" while speaking of people and all living things in general, it's kind of implied since Empire that everyone should technically be capable of becoming a Force Ghost, if they know how.
Besides, there isn't really such a thing as a "Light Side Power", as far as the movies go. Hell, you could use the whole lightning business for good too. Charge up someone's generator or something. After all, Force Choking is basically the same as Luke lifting things. They both invole grabbing hold/moving things. Except one is gentle, and the other isn't.
It's all about how you use it. After all: Only the Sith deal in absolutes, bro.

Maybe he's referring to what vader said in empire, asking Luke to join him and overthrow the emperor. And at the end of the film we find out that Kylo was a plant by Luke to try and take down the emperor's new form, Snoke. That's why Rey goes to him, she wants to take her brother's place and destroy the dark side.
