Funny story, I was 17 and smoking with my friends in an apartment that was in the same building as my family's. I start to pass out and tell my friends I should probably go, which wasn't a great idea, but by that point I was already losing consciousness.
So I'm stumbling down the hallways of this apartment complex, and my vision is beginning to black out. Eventually, it gets to the point where I'm completely blind, and on the verge of unconsciousness, and I'm sliding along the walls by touch. I get to the elevator, and as soon as the door closes, I pass out for a few seconds on the floor.
I come to completely confused, not remembering where I was or why I was there, but I tag the button for my floor and stumble back to my apartment. I pass out on the couch as soon as I walk in, and later realize what happened.

Weed makes the neurons in your brain fire non stop. It is like a constant minefield blowing up in your head with ideas and thoughts etc.
For creative minded people I believe it becomes overwhelming, every single stimulus has a huge effect on what the brain produces.
Paranoia is an effect of this becuase let's take Jack black who is a writer, actor, an amazingly creative guy. He could easily take the simplest, most innocent thing, and through his nerons continuously firing all of a sudden he created a narrative for malicious intent.
People say weed makes you slow, but it actually just makes your brain work so fast and hard that your body is put on the backburner.

Apparently I've been doing this for years on my own. I don't tell myself I'm going to be a billionaire, but I've thought my way out of most of the shit that paralyzes me. idk I guess I'm really used to that kind of high so the novelty has worn off. I mean it's great for being day high when you need to actually go do shit. Pretty often I'll take a hit or two like 1/5-2 hours before doing something important so that I'm not quite fully come down when I get there and it makes things awesome.

I don't think weed is a cure-all or is even really healthy, but I will be honest when I say that after a 2 month period where I was emotionally just fucked, no idea if it was diagnosable depression or not, a couple weeks where I smoked at least a bit every day brought me out of it.
I don't smoke every day anymore, probably a few times a week mostly to help me sleep, but I haven't really felt like I did for that 2-month period in a long while.
