This is what happens when a bad movie is made with absolute technical precision. Nothing about it smacks you in the face as shit because there's nothing about it that 'looks' shit. But when you're done you, stare at the floor feeling like you've wasted your time but can't figure out why.

Pretty great portrayal of a functional psychopath imho.
The movie dragged on for a bit but from the moment she decided to come back it became gold for me. The reason why she came back was masterfully done. Not coming back because he said the right things but instead for the reason afflecks character knew how to indentify the right things and also playing on her own psychopathy actually impressed her as he was much more her equal than before.
