What do you think the average IQ of this board is?

Probably about 95, desu.
Slightly stupid people always think they are average. Average people always think they are smart. Slightly smart people always think they are geniuses.

How's it feel to be on the wrong end of the Bell curve?
Check 'em.

You know anon when you get to talking like this you sound panicked.
>>63403961
Do you see reddit up there in your high thread? What do you know about these people.
Question is, how many people in the world have taken a legit IQ test, such as one administered by Mensa, and not some bullshit Internet test?
I would guess less than 1%

Thanks.

Well, I don't use ten dollar words as much as you, but for a guy who has people down, you sure fret about it an awful lot; and you still sound panicked.

Has anyone else on /tv/ actually taken an IQ test? Maybe we could actually figure this out.
134.
>>63403961
Pretty low, most posters are fairly liberal
>>63404209
But was it a REAL IQ test?
>>63404203
Shit, man, look, I've noticed you have a tendency toward myopia, tunnel vision... blows possible conversations... vision skews, twists dialogues. You're...you're obsessive.

>>63404209
I really don't trust this board to self report, but whatever. Last time I took one was in elementary school and IIRC I got in the 140s, but if that was true I wouldn't be in here.
>>63404289
I feel you. I had to do IQ test after head trauma last year. I got 152, so I guess everything was ok afterall.
>>63404209
160 very real iq test.
>>63404318
clearly not if you're here.
I want to know how many people there are on /tv/ to be honest.
Like, posters who both main /tv/ and post here at least once or twice per day.
I'd guess 150.
Bain posters? Easily genius level at least 140

i have an iq test i bought at barnes and noble several years ago that i never took because i am lazy. how about i post the questions and we get this shit sorted.
>>63404318
yea man same here, when I was 7 I had these epileptic seizures. After that I had to take this test and the result was 180, then I spent most of my time with a group of researchers headed by a guy named Alan Schoenfeld, they just observed me while I had to solve these geometry problems (constructing regular 16 - 17 - 18 - gon and the like). It was really repetitive.

My IQ was tested at 130. But this is the internet where everyone exaggerates so I'll say 155.
Times you acted like Rust in real life
>threw out all my furniture except my bed
>rented a few psychology and philosophy books at the library
>mom comes into my room and asks what I want for dinner
>tell her "I don't eat".
>she says "But you'll get hungry anon, are you trying to lose weight to impress some girl? I think you look fine the way you are." (I'm 235lbs)
>I look out the window and whisper "I have seen the finale of thousands of lives, mom. Each one is so sure of their realness, that their sensory experience constituted a unique individual with purpose, meaning, so certain that they were more than a biological puppet, when truth wills out, and everybody sees once the strings are cut."
>"Did you read this in one of your books, anon? That sounds kinda morbid but at least you're not reading comic books anymore. Are you sure you don't want a hot pocket?"
>"A hot pocket indeed, mom. A hot pocket indeed."

I agree with cunny posting at least.

>Has anyone else on /tv/ actually taken an IQ test?
I was tested at a university as a little kid and pulled a 136.. odd are it topped out a bit higher as I got older. The only thing I've ever noticed about having an IQ higher than more or less 98% of the population is I catch on to stuff faster. I also see patterns way, way faster then most people.
but it's not like I've cured cancer in my free time or anything. Keep in mind that's all IQ really is about, speed of learning and finding patterns for the most part. You can still have stupid over all views and horrible, horrible taste in films/music/books etc.
basically higher IQs don't tend to stand out as much as lower one do being the range between the top 2% to top 10% is not that big of a deal. It's the low end that really stand out when you have to deal with them at all.
