what does /tv/ think of this movie?
>>63398989
One of my favorite all time movies and a great quotable movie all around
Anyone who openly hates it is an edglord contrarian faggot that should stick to capeshit
>>63398989
For what it is it's a lot of fun
i always cry during this scene
also
>holy maaaaaaaaaaaaan holy maaaaaaaaaaaaaan lord knooooows i am a holy maaaaaaan
Op here. I honestly think its the greatest film of all time. I'm not joking I've probably seen in 300+ times
>>63399023

She's one of the hottest ladies in the world.
Ramseeeees. How are youuuuu
>Did you not tell him they were the Lord's cheeps?
>>63398989
The dude who made this movie and Napoleon dynamite is making another movie with a character whose first and last name is in the title
>>63398989
I love this movie I think it is one of Jack Blacks best
Praying for nutrients is the best kind of prayer possible
>"GET THAT CORN OUTTA MA FACE!"
>>63401468

GET THAT CORN OUTTA MA FACE
>>63398989
Jack Black just isn't funny. Imagine how great this could have been with any other fat funnyman like zonk galafaknocknocks or dude weed lmao.
>>63399094
God she was a hot nun!
>>63402413
>Zack
Maybe. He doesn't shy away from self-humiliation.
>Dudeweed
God no, the man has zero comedic ability.
>>63398989
I like the music
>>63402413
I thought he only did the weed lmao thing in Tenacious D
Comfy, but jack black gets old real fast.

Genuinely bad. EncarnaciĆ³n was damn hot though.
>How did you find me in the wilderness?
>I saw you from the village.
>Hola Nacho
>Bueno
>>63398989
I've always thought it was totally underrated.
The nun chick was really hot but unfortunately she waxes her arms. Oh well.
>>63402917
>Not liking hairy chicks
>>63403348
>unfortunately
>>63402413
>>63402479
Zach might have been okay at it.
But Jack nailed it perfectly.
Seth would have been shit. Guy plays the same roles over and over mostly.
Only time he was good and funny was Superbad.
>NACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOQue?
>>63399599
Nachos last name wasn't Libre though
>>63402413
Jack Black's at least endearing, I think he fit the role perfectly. Zach Galifianakis reminds me of Bill Murray were he always looks like he's not quite 'with it'. And Seth Rogan is too smug for me, mixed with a complete dudebro attitude and barely ANY talent whatsoever, he doesn't really fit for most roles he does. I think the only reason I slightly enjoyed him in Pineapple Express was because he's basically playing himself

What is it with the Mexican sidekick's in Jared Hess' movies? It was the same with Napoleon Dynamite, some weird gormless but well meaning lanky kid.
>>63398989
I think "endearing" is the best way to describe the movie.

2000-2005 movies awesome, with the same "spirit of fun" as the late 90s
2006-2009 sucked
>>63398989
It's one of my favorite movies. I used to watch it all the time with my mom.
>hug hug kiss kiss
>>63403893
translation: i was in my early-mid teens between 2000-2005 and grew more cynical as i got older
its ok anon, every generation goes through the same thing
>>63401658
>RAMSES NUMBER ONE, HE KNOWS THE SECRETS OF DESIRE, >RAPAPAPAPILIAPUPALIAPUPPA
>>63403983
can confirm this. there are few movies both me and my mother laugh at, it really hits the sweet spot
>>63404000
But I was 10 in 2005
Also, trips
i showed my weird straighlaced granddad this movie and now he cracks up every time we say a line.
