I hated them skipping over Robin and given fans a lame shout out that makes "What did you expect? Yellow spandex?" seem like a subtle and smart.
At the same time, that scene of Blake at the end ready to become the next Batman was a fantastic ending to Nolan's singular trilogy. It almost made up for the mess the third film was.
