I don't know if it's because of Rob or Fox, but they really don't do much promotional stuff for it. If they took out ads in newspapers, critics would like them more.
Critics are also hesitant to praise any comedy. I don't know if it's because comedy can age fast, is really subjective, or just seen as a lower medium than drama.
