So what nigga I almost killed myself over FFVIII because somebody told me I could get reincarnated in Balamb Garden in the afterlife
It was made how many years ago now? Also it was shot entirely digital at 2K because they did not have 4K Red cams back then. Also the CGI looks slightly unreal when frozen as a screencap but looks a lot better in motion. I still think it stands up as a decent CGI sci-fi flick despite its preachy message and stealing from other sources. It was the first movie to really push 3D again and yes we have become piss bored with 'stereoscopy' cinema and yes it was a cash grab. But still it tried to push the boundaries and at the time I think it succeeded. Depressed people kill themselves. They would have done it anyhow.
