No, paramount had one in development for years then gave up. A lot of people think it needs a premium channel series to be done correctly. I would too but it's doubtful. Maybe when HBO's done with GoT or something.

It's an interesting documentary on how a filmmaker puts a brilliant cast & crew together, and worth a watch. The movie itself would have been an artistic monument but not a satisfying adaptation of the book.

Dune will never work, it's too expensive to make it good.
Only way to make a Dune saga work is in animation, and no one is going to put enough money into that either.
