Kiefer looked nothing like Venom Snake, so I don't understand the need for mocap. Not to mention he barely talked, and when he did, it was on cassette tapes - further making the mocap useless. Hayter's voice is one of the most iconic parts of the franchise. Also they kept the same Japanese voice actor... I guess the better question was what did Hayter do to piss Kojima off to fire him.

Sutherland voice sounds as KStew face acts, IMO he did a regular job, he sounds just like he's reading a script with no real emotions. While I agree Hayter voice acting became more and more fake and raspy, Sutherland really never fit BB, IMO Richard Doyle the guy who voiced BB in MGS4 were perfect for the role, he sounded like an old, tired, classy Hayter.
