I somewhat enjoyed the series, but it was far from Daredevil tier where I was on the edge of my seat the whole way trough, and the whole thing was at least three episodes too long and really uncreative with how Jessica needed Hope to conveniently (for the writers) sacrifice herself so she could get to Killgrave. Also, compared to the comic, it sort of chickened out. With a villain like Killgrave, they should have gone all out dark and ikcy to the point of us cheering when she finally "killed" him (he'll probably be back). Which is what I thought they were doing the first couple of episodes when it was sort of neo noir, but that muddled out pretty quick.

I actually thought it was more consistent than Daredevil. The middle of daredevil really dragged on and the ending felt out of tone (and character for Wilson Fisk.) It is almost as if a Disney executive force them showrunners to give a typical comic book movie ending.
I did not care about the subplots in Daredevil. Karen and Foggy's romance started off cute, but became boring filler. Ben Urich's sick wife was a waste of time. Whereas all the B-stories in Jessica Jones were intriguing.
