Ok /tv/ just got out of a pre-screening of The Revenant. Here are the splits:
Cinematography: 9/10 or a close as possible. Despite a few meme sequences it is very well done.
Pacing: 5/10. Slow but sort of engrossing. Too much crawling thought the snow.
Acting: 4/10. Literally grunt and squint: the Oscar nomination.
Violence: 10/10. Some scenes are plain fookin br00tal, m8s.
In conclusion I'll offer a cautious recomendation.
