I've seen nothing but praise on /tv for this movie ever since it came out. Saw it last night and came out disappointed.

Everybody here says shit like "best movie since the original" when it didn't even come close thanks to how poorly written Adonis character is.

Adonis has EVERYTHING I repeat EVERYTHING going for him. Good looks, money, smarts, and a career he just got a promotion in.

Rocky on the other hand. Had literally nothing. He was dumb, ugly and was only getting by by working for some gangster.

Adrian was a 30 year old autistic virgin who was super shy around Rocky. They even gave creeds girlfriend a hearing disability which I really like. All characters in the Rocky universe should have a disability. It makes them seem more relatable.

Adonis literally had everything. Rocky even asks him why he wants to fight, only to have it revealed later in the movie that it's "so I know I'm not a mistake"

WELL WHAT THE FUCK DOES THIS PROVE YOU STUPID NIGGER. YOU WERE ALREADY SUCCEEDING AT LIFE IN ONE JOB AND THREW IT ALL AWAY FOR A JOB THAT LITERALLY TURNS YOU INTO A RETARD IN YOUR LATER YEARS.

shitty main character. This movie was worth seeing just for rockys scenes and dialogue. I won't be seeing the sequel

What do you expect? Only the first Rocky was somewhat good, what made you think another cash in sequel starring some token black who can't act for shit that gets made decades later would be good?

Michael B Jordan is just fucking awful, the only thing he was good in was The Wire. He has been in nothing notable except flops like Fantastic Four and now this pile of shit. Why do they keep giving token negro roles?
