This is silly, of course it can be explained. Things on the astral plane can only partially affect the third dimension and that is why we only get creaks and random touching - sometimes a plate or a cup will be thrown off a table, but that's it basically.

I guess their regular show is called Ghost Asylum or something. Every fucking episode the autist redneck comes up with a "device" that supposedly traps ghosts and then they "let them free" somewhere else like it was a squirrel trapped in an attic or some shit.
