I'm conservative and I can understand a lot of this and usually have a few sentences I could think up that would destroy the 'artistic expression.' The main problem with leftist films are that they're fixed on the idea that all nonbelievers in the leftist cause are idiot evil racists, and portray themselves as innocent victims only wanting to live in peace. Honestly, I'm fine with a good movie, but if you're going to preach a debate give the opposite point of view and some argument to beat other than some guy spouting racist comments or being a corporate executive that doesn't care about people.

The creator of Ender's Game has said some conservative things regarding gay marriage, but the book itself is pretty liberal. It demonizes war and xenophobia and is a tale against believing what "your" side tells you about the "enemy".
