Guys, i haven't liked one of these trash shows in a while, but this one is great.
she has a ton of charisma, qt as fuck, the writing is not terrible, and she can deliver some funny lines sometimes, supporting cast not bad - the bad guy comes off as evil - it just works bros

It is, but the larger narrative builds til the end with a nice payoff... the Motw plotting is just the vehicle through which everything else shines, Liv's personalities, banter with the cast, incremental developments in larger plot. THey're not that fascinating but everything else makes up for it.

for Liv, taste buds go to shit, only spicy foods register and access to brains is limited, she's lucky in her case being an ME but everybody else will slowly start to lose control of their thought processes and get more violent and less smart as they go without brains, in S1 they found a girl that got turned the same time as liv but she hadn't had brains for months, even when they fed her she stayed classic zombie.
